Pre-Press Specialist.
Digital PrePress for Upscale magazine (circulation approximately 300,000). Preparation of client material for printing and proofing through traditional film output as well as electronic PDF production. Four color output to film and PDF. Duties include scanning of images, redesign of ads and layout, trapping, color correction, optimization and troubleshooting of electronic files. PDF production duties include creation, modification, troubleshooting and proofing of PDFs. Knowledge of use and basic maintenance of film imagesetters, RIPs, processors and proofing equipment as well as electronic large and small format output devices.
IT Manager.
As of March 2003, Nick has taken over all IT Administration functions for NuVision Graphics. His duties include supporting all hardware, software and users, purchasing hardware and software, administering the T1, DSL, WAMnet, FTP and web servers as well as setting up and administering OSX servers, RAID and backups.

Lead Artist. Responsible for maintaining consistent graphic standards among the various Production Artists working on title. Also responsible for design and creation of some or all of navigation menus and backgrounds for scripts used on titles.

Website design and programming. for The Electrification Council (TEC). Created graphics for a sixty page website. Also responsible for organization of content and programming HTML code.

Production Artist. Responsible for creation of illustrations as well as cleanup and modification of images from video, photographs and slides to be used in content scripts of CD-I multimedia training titles.

Asset Librarian. Large-scale scanning of photos and slides as well as capture of video images. Cataloging and organizing an average of 2,000+ files that went into each title and backing them up on a regular basis. Archiving files for easy reference and retrieval at the end of production.

Producer. Duties included formatting text for scripts, editing slide changes for audio and visual purposes, and tracking and estimating time on the various parts of production process.
